However during 90's shaktimaan was the best thing that happened to indian kids. I am not really sure how would today's generation take shows like Shaktimaan as they have been habituated of high quality of animation and graphics. If there's ever a reboot, I'd expect the same powerful writing, strong performances, intense action sequences but with better CGI and more original ideas. As for today's kids, it might not to be impressive enough but has sufficient intense action and strong performances that make it worth a watch.

And oh, how could I forget the Superman inspiration? Nevertheless, it's a fun action series to watch for yesterday's kids and today's adults who would love to cherish those pleasant memories of watching India's one of the finest superheroes on the small screen. If you have seen any of the above mentioned films, you're bound to be very disappointed. Shaktimaan disappoints by proceeding more with the second one. Recreating a sequence based on a film is one thing and using the exact footage from that film to create a sequence is another thing. However, it's equally heartbreaking to discover a good amount of episodes have been copied from Hollywood movies such as First Blood, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Predator, X-Men and even the much loved Star Wars franchise etc.
Shaktimaan also has a lot of positive messages to offer to kids, and that's another reason behind its success as a superhero series. Shaktimaan/Gangadhar and Geeta are the most memorable characters in the whole series, and the strong acting is a major reason behind that. Mukesh Khanna and Vaishnavi have given their finest here in terms of performances. Even though many sequences are overshadowed by a weak CGI, its the crisp writing that eventually comes to the rescue. Visual effects are fairly average but not too bad for the times it was released in. The efforts in the stunts can be seen, and I really liked how they pulled off many of them. Shaktimaan has power-packed action sequences. Mukesh Khanna is the biggest reason why Shaktimaan became what it is today, and there's a reason why this character has managed to exist beyond the series. Nostalgia is guaranteed while watching several episodes combining Shaktimaan's magical action sequences and Gangadhar's comedic escapades.
Shaktimaan has been a memorable superhero since childhood.

According to Mukesh, he doesn't want to get into politics, but he got the offer of Children's film society then he was okay with it.Although I haven't seen each and every episode, I have seen a fairly high amount to review this TV series already. Mukesh Khanna said, 'I have proved by making serials like Shaktimaan because if you make kids as ur audience then automatically Parents will come for free. Mukesh Khanna to loose weight for Shaktimaan Now producers are even scared to make films on kids.' But there are no mistakes of the kid because they don't have material to see. He said, 'These days kids get to see Saas Bahu serials or films like Dabangg, which has dialogues like 'Itne Ched Karuna'. During the shooting conversation, Mukesh Khanna complained about the films made for the kids and taunted Ekta Kapoor and Salman Khan. Recently, appointed as Chairman of Children's Film Society Mukesh Khanna these days is shooting for the kid's film 'Chidiyakhana'.
